Web development is hard, not as hard as it used to be with all of the technologies available to us now, but still an immense undertaking that requires copious amounts of patience and grit.
Every developer has abandoned ideas that were oh so close to getting off the ground but in the end couldn't generate the thrust to truly take flight. Everyone including the author of this post has these failed ideas and shouldn't be ashamed of letting go of work they struggle to find value in.
The value added from committing to an idea and taking the time to build, develop, and nurture it can pay dividends now and throughout ones career.
